- You are not as bad as people say, you are much, much worse.
- Now we know why some animals eat their own children.
- Please, keep talking. I always yawn when I am interested.
- Talk is cheap, but that's okay, so are you.
- If we killed everybody who hates you, it wouldn't be murder, it would be an apocalypse!
- This is an excellent time for you to become a missing person.
- I'm busy now. Can I ignore you some other time?
- When I look into your eyes, I see straight through to the back of your head.
- A sharp tongue does not mean you have a keen mind.
- Anyone who told you to be yourself couldn't have given you any worse advice.
- Are you always this stupid or are you making a special effort today.
- Do you want me to accept you as you are, or do you want me to lie to myself and try to like you?
- Don't let your mind wander, it's far too small to be let out on its own.
- Don't thank me for insulting you, it was a pleasure.
- Don't you realize that there are enough people to hate in the world already without you putting in so much effort to give us another?
- He always finds himself lost in thought; it's unfamiliar territory.
- I bet you get bullied a lot.
- I can tell that you are lying, your lips are moving.
- I don't know what makes you so dumb but it really works.
- I don't mind you talking so much, as long as you don't mind me not listening.
- I don't think you are a fool, but what's my opinion compared to that of thousands of others.

Browsing Old Cemeteries
A truly Happy Person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.
And, one who can enjoy browsing old cemeteries...
Some funny fascinating and hilarious things on old tombstones!
Harry Edsel Smith of Albany , New York :
Born 1903--Died 1942.
Looked up the elevator shaft to see if the car was on the way down. It was.
=============================
In a Thurmont, Maryland , cemetery:
Here lies an Atheist, all dressed up and no place to go.
=============================
On the grave of Ezekial Aikle in East Dalhousie Cemetery , Nova Scotia :
Here lies Ezekial Aikle, Age 102. Only The Good Die Young.
=============================
In a London , England cemetery:
Here lies Ann Mann, Who lived an old maid but died an old Mann. Dec. 8, 1767
=============================
In a Ribbesford, England , cemetery:
Anna Wallace
The children of Israel wanted bread, And the Lord sent them manna. Clark Wallace
wanted a wife, And the Devil sent him Anna.
===============================
In a Ruidoso, New Mexico , cemetery:
Here lies Johnny Yeast... Pardon him for not rising.
===============================
In a Uniontown, Pennsylvania , cemetery:
Here lies the body of Jonathan Blake. Stepped on the gas instead of the brake.
==============================
In a Silver City, Nevada, cemetery:
Here lays The Kid.
We planted him raw.
He was quick on the trigger
But slow on the draw.
================================
A lawyer's epitaph in England :
Sir John Strange.
Here lies an honest lawyer, and that is Strange.
=================================
John Penny's epitaph in the Wimborne,
England , cemetery:
Reader, if cash thou art in want of any,
Dig 6 feet deep and thou wilt find a Penny.
==================================
In a cemetery in Hartscombe , England :
On the 22nd of June, Jonathan Fiddle went out of tune.
==================================
Anna Hopewell's grave in Enosburg Falls , Vermont :
Here lies the body of our Anna,
Done to death by a banana.
It wasn't the fruit that laid her low,
But the skin of the thing that made her go.
==================================
On a grave from the 1880s in Nantucket , Massachusetts :
Under the sod and under the trees,
Lies the body of Jonathan Pease.
He is not here, there's only the pod.
Pease shelled out and went to God.
==================================
In a cemetery in England :
Remember man, as you walk by,
As you are now, so once was I.
As I am now, so shall you be.
Remember this and follow me.
To which someone replied by writing on the tombstone:
To follow you I'll not consent.
Until I know which way you went.

I just read an article on the dangers of heavy drinking...
Scared the shit out of me.
So that's it!
After today, no more reading.
Gentle Thoughts For Today
By:

When I'm feeling down, I like to whistle...it makes the neighbor's dog run to the end of his chain and gag himself.
A penny saved is... a government oversight.
The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing at the right time...but also to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.
The older you get, the tougher it is to lose weight...because by then your body and your fat have gotten to be really good friends.
The easiest way to find something lost around the house is...to buy a replacement.
He who hesitates...is probably right.
Did you ever notice: The Roman Numerals for forty (40) are " XL."
If you think there is good in everybody...you haven't met everybody.
If you can smile when things go wrong...you have someone in mind to blame.
The sole purpose of a child's middle name is... so he can tell when he's really in trouble.
There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it. For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.
Did you ever notice: When you put the 2 words "The" and "IRS" together it spells "Theirs?"
Aging: Eventually you will reach a point when you stop lying about your age...and start bragging about it.
The older we get...the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know "why" I look this way...I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.
When you are dissatisfied and would like to go back to youth...think of Algebra.
You know you are getting old...when everything either dries up or leaks.
One of the many things no one tells you about aging is...that it is such a nice change from being young.
Ah, being young is beautiful...but being old is comfortable.
First you forget names, then you forget faces. Then you forget to pull up your zipper...It's worse when you forget to pull it down.
Lord, keep your arm around my shoulder and your hand over my mouth...AMEN..!!
